Comis Biotech Private Limited was founded by a team of passionate and visionary individuals dedicated to building a sustainable ecosystem that promotes the healthy existence of life on Earth. Through innovation, research, and eco-friendly solutions, we are committed to revolutionizing agriculture, waste management, and animal husbandry.

Our focus on soil bioremediation and rejuvenation helps reduce the excessive use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides—paving the way for truly sustainable farming. We also provide expert agricultural consultation, with a team of specialists in soil microbiology, plant anatomy, physiology, and entomology. With a strong network of 30,000+ farmers and over 100 sales outlets, we are empowering communities to adopt chemical-free farming practices. In waste management we have successfully close to 1lakh MT of waste by converting it in to value added organic manure. Comis has been successful in significantly reducing the usage of antibiotics and synthetic drugs in Livestock & poultry industry.

Sachin is a highly accomplished biotechnology postgraduate and microbiology graduate, boasting over 14 years of expertise in microbial fermentation. He specializes in developing innovative, microbial-based organic biofertilizers and biopesticides. His collaborations include prestigious institutions such as the National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), the Directorate of Weed Science Research (DWSR), the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), and the National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources (NBAGR).

Before founding Comis Biotech, Sachin led the biofertilizer division at BAIF Development Research Foundation, India's largest NGO dedicated to farmer welfare.

He also served as a Senior Research Fellow in a World Bank-funded National Agriculture Innovation Project (NAIP) at Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University. In these roles, he was instrumental in developing cost-effective, eco-friendly agricultural solutions tailored to the diverse needs of farmers across various agro-climatic regions.

As a pioneer in microbial fermentation technology, Sachin has applied his expertise across multiple sectors, including agriculture, animal husbandry, dairy, food, enzymes, and pharmaceuticals. He is credited with developing revolutionary liquid consortia-based biofertilizer and biopesticide formulations that have transformed India's biofertilizer industry. Additionally, he actively introduces advanced global agricultural technologies to India, enhancing farming practices nationwide.

As a co-founder of multiple successful private limited companies, Sachin possesses strong techno-commercial acumen. At Comis Biotech, he spearheads operations, research and development, and strategic planning, ensuring continuous innovation in cost-effective agricultural solutions. His dedication to research keeps Comis aligned with its mission, driving the development of practical, result-oriented solutions that empower farmers.

Ashok Jadhav
Principal Agronomist

Ashok an agriculture graduate from MPKV Rahuri, having more than 30 years of experience of product development and related aspects of agriculture. He is an expert in grape, tomato, pomegranate, and polyhouse farming. He began his career at corporate giants like Godrej Agrovet Ltd., working in their export division, where he gained invaluable knowledge of grape cultivation and global export standards. Later, he joined Mahafeed Specialty Fertilizer Pvt. Ltd. as an Area Sales Manager in their Plant Nutrition Division, where he developed an in-depth understanding of crop nutrition and soil health.

During his tenure at Mahafeed, Ashok recognized a critical issue: farmers were investing heavily in chemical fertilizers and pesticides, yet their yields remained stagnant, and soil health continued to deteriorate. This realization drove him to explore sustainable, chemical-free farming solutions. His passion for organic agriculture led him to join Comis Biotech, where he actively contributes to its mission of promoting organic farming. Today, he is personally connected with over 10000 farmers and is regarded as an expert in sustainable fruit and vegetable cultivation.

At Comis, Ashok plays a crucial role in optimizing product application and formulating crop-specific recommendations based on climatic and soil conditions. He develops nutritional and disease management protocols and closely monitors the on-field impact of Comis’ products. His field experience provides valuable feedback to Comis' research team, ensuring continuous improvement and the development of effective, farmer-friendly solutions.

Mothabhau Khairnar

Mr. Khairnar holds a postgraduate degree in Botany from Pune University and has 25 years of extensive expertise in plant breeding and agronomy. With experience in export-focused agriculture, he has a deep understanding of farmers’ economic challenges and market demands.

At Comis Biotech, Mothabhau leads client management, oversees product trials, and manages product development and customer data. His hands-on approach ensures that Comis’ products meet the real-world needs of farmers. He is committed to improving farmers’ profitability through sustainable practices, helping them transition to organic farming while maximizing their economic returns.

Mahesh Gurav
Executive Business Development

Mahesh holds a Master's degree in Agricultural Entomology and brings 25 years of expertise in pest and disease identification and management for major agricultural crops. He has worked with renowned organizations such as MRDBS (Maharashtra Rajya Draksh Bagaytadar Sangh), Reliance Fresh, and K.F. Bioplants Pvt. Ltd. In these roles, he was responsible for conducting field trials for various agricultural inputs and evaluating their performance. During his tenure at MRDBS, he closely collaborated with the National Research Centre for Grapes, gaining direct exposure to their grape research program.

At Comis, Mahesh oversees the product development program, contributing his innovative ideas for identifying need-based and sustainable agricultural inputs. As an expert in floriculture and grapes, he is also responsible for developing nutrition and pest management programs for flower plants and enhancing Comis's product portfolio for floricultural and horticultural crops.

Yuval Chen

Mr. Yuval Chen, an internationally recognized agronomist of Israeli origin, brings decades of expertise in modern agriculture and sustainable farming practices. As a global consultant, he has worked in over 30 countries, introducing innovative crop varieties and advanced cultivation techniques to enhance productivity and ensure long-term agricultural resilience.

Yuval's primary mission is to promote chemical-free farming, achieve sustainable crop yields, and contribute to a reliable organic food supply. In his role as a business associate at Comis Biotech, he actively supports and advocates for the company’s eco-friendly agricultural inputs. Through his company, Aridland & Crops Specialists Ltd., Yuval collaborates closely with Comis Biotech on various agro projects, offering invaluable insights and strategic guidance. Mr. Amit Kale

Mr. Amit Kale, an engineer by profession and a farmer at heart, brings a wealth of experience in modern, technology-driven agriculture. Specializing in protected cultivation of flowers, capsicum, and cucumber, he has successfully managed over 40 hectares of farmland using advanced techniques such as drone spraying and precision farming. His hands-on expertise in integrating innovation with sustainable practices has set benchmarks in agricultural productivity. As an advisor to Comis Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Amit contributes significantly by developing effective product application protocols and exploring cutting-edge farming technologies, reinforcing the company’s commitment to promoting eco-friendly and efficient agricultural solutions.

Dr. Santosh Sahane
Business Associate

Santosh H. Sahane holds a Master's degree in Agricultural Entomology and a Ph.D. in Waste Management, with over 20 years of national and international experience in research, extension, and agro-marketing. He is a life member of the Organic Farming Strategy Committee, Government of Maharashtra, and serves as the Technical Director of the Vegetable Growers Association of India.

At Comis Biotech, Santosh plays a key role in strategic planning for business expansion in both domestic and international markets.

His international collaborations include working with GIZ, a German organization, to develop a network of experts (scientists and private sector players), users (farmers), and supporters (government organizations and NGOs) to address agricultural and allied sector challenges arising from climate change. His expertise extends to various domains, including organic farming and floriculture in African countries, post-harvest management of bananas in the Philippines, protective cultivation in the UAE, and integrated pest management (IPM) and food safety in the Netherlands.
